Ikea has already conducted a “visual rethinking” of it’s iconic meatball using alternative ingredients such as insects, algae, and lab-grown meat. But a final decision on launching the product hasn’t been taken yet. Vera Mertes Banchereau, IKEA Food Services said: “There haven’t been any decisions made on launching food items based on the use of insects at IKEA.
