Did you know that ants are also pollinators?

…plants that depend on their activities to pollinate and reproduce would disappear.

The ants have the capacity to learn, adapt and generate conservation strategies even in the face of floods or overheating. The researchers concluded that the ants’ ecological role is very important for the biodiversity, especially for the flora.

The researchers explained that these insects help transport and disperse seeds, leaves, nectar, and fungi, as well as pollinate, clean, and take advantage of organic waste. They also stressed that without them the balance of the ecosystem would be damaged, other animal species would die, and plants that depend on their activities to pollinate and reproduce would disappear.
