The Ento Nation Cookbook
There has never been a cookbook like this.
Any one of the reader/listeners of the Ento Nation from over 200 countries will tell you that each week on the podcast you can hear an ento-chef or bug cooking expert showing you how to prepare and eat delicious, nutritious, and sustainable bugs. They know that they will be treated each week to a wonderful recipe with music, sound effects, and more importantly, the person who created the recipe actually talking you through it, giving hints and tips and insights along the way!
We’ll have every single audio recipe ever prepared on the Ento Nation podcast from the likes of Chef PV, Aly Moore, and all of the other wonderful guest bug cooking experts who have appeared on the show. Plus, even more brand new audio recipes from some of the up and coming stars of the modern entomophagy movement, bug cooking experts like Joy Nemerson of Get Buggie, and Michela Dai Zovi, editor of the Bugs4Beginners Cookbook, even Cricket Man himself contributes a few recipes.
We will also have introductions to each audio recipe by entomologist Javon Latimore of En Tune. Javon will provide introductions to each recipe and talk about the actual bugs being used in that recipe. She’ll describe its nutrition profile, where it is from, how to get it, and other interesting facts about the bug you are going to cook.
The Cookbook will not only contain audio recipes and their corresponding print recipe in PDF and spiral bound form, but we will also be publishing every single recipe that has ever appeared at the Ento Nation website. In all, we will end up with dozens of bug-based recipes for you to add to your cookbook library.
The audio portion will come on a handy, keychain flash. PDF will be available for download, and the spiral bound version will also be available for a slightly higher support gift.
The Ento Nation Cookbook will not be made available for purchase when this campaign ends. The only way to ever get it will be to support the Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign for Bug Wagon that will launch next week. Stay tuned!
