NUTELLA CRITTER CUPCAKES

INGREDIENTS
cupcake:
1 stick warm butter
½ cup sugar
¾ cup Nutella
2 eggs
¼ cup almond milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup flour
½ cup ground silkworm pupae/beetle larvae
¼ cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
icing:
1 stick warm butter
¾ cup Nutella
1 tsp vanilla
1 Tbsp almond milk
2 cups powdered sugar

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 325⁰ F.

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar together. Mix in Nutella. Slowly add in eggs, milk, and vanilla while continuing to mix.

In another bowl, combine the dry ingredients, including bugs. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mix, and beat until all is well combined.

Fill cupcake liners about ¾ full (2-3 Tablespoons) and bake for 20-25 minutes.

Make frosting while cupcakes are cooling; Cream butter and Nutella together, then add in vanilla and almond milk. Slowly add the powdered sugar until desired consistency is reached.
