INGREDIENTS

1 cup POPPED CORN

1 tbsp TURMERIC

1 cup BROWN SUGAR

½ cup HEAVY WHIPPING CREAM

4 tbsps BUTTER

½ tsp SMOKED SALT

1 tbsp LAVENDER FLOWERS

¼ cup RED TERMITES

¼ cup ROASTED MEALWORMS

DIRECTIONS

In a medium mixing bowl, toss together POPPED CORN and TURMERIC. Set aside.

Line baking sheet with silicone mat and set aside.

In a saucepan, whisk together BROWN SUGAR, HEAVY WHIPPING CREAM, BUTTER, SMOKED SALT and LAVENDER FLOWERS. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to medium-low and whisk until thickened, about 6 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.

Mix ¾ CARAMEL with POPPED CORN, turn out on silicon mat and place into fridge for 15 minutes. Leave remaining CARAMEL out of fridge.

When ready, remove CARAMEL POPPED CORN from fridge. With a spoon, scoop some of the CARAMEL CORN and form into bite-size balls. Dip the top of the balls in MEALWORMS, add some CARAMEL from saucepan and finish with RED TERMITES.
